For the sixth year, Law Clerks’ Society members participated in the Supreme Judicial Court’s Law Day Program.

A group of 8th grade students watched Theatre Espresso’s production of The Nine Who Dared, which explored the experiences of the nine African American students who enrolled in the previously all-white Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas in September 1957. After the play, the cast answered questions from the students and encouraged discussion concerning the bravery of the students and the conflict in the community that arose during the implementation of Brown vs. Board of Education. The students were then divided into three groups for discussion with SJC Justices and SJC Law Clerks’ Society volunteers.
