Theater Espresso 25th Anniversary Celebration
May 4, 2017 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm

The longtime theatrical and educational partner of the Supreme Judicial Court, Theatre Espresso, will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a reception at Boston’s historic Faneuil Hall, honoring Justice Robert Cordy (Ret.)

The event will highlight Boston’s history of activism and civic engagement, offering a rare public performance of a Theatre Espresso play, The Trial of Anthony Burns, an original Theatre Espresso production exploring ongoing tensions between states’ rights and federal law.

Help the theater honor Justice Cordy, for his significant contributions to the civic education of young people, as the theater presents him with our Justice in Action award. Proceeds from the event will support the theater’s Road to Tolerance program at the John Adams Courthouse, which enables 1,700 Boston Public School students each year to participate in our interactive plays.

Contributions of all amounts are appreciated.  For more information, see the event flyer and for tickets, please visit theatreespresso.org.
